Processing of DLA procurement data has migrated completely from SAMMS to EBS. As of 21 June 2007, SAMMS content is no longer posted to the eFOIA system. From this point forward, all data posted to eFOIA will be EBS data.
As part of the effort to counteract the ever-increasing threat to DoD systems, restrictions on access to Defense web systems from the public domain are being put into place. One of the protocols being considered for restriction and possible elimination is the file transfer protocol (FTP). Should a decision be made by DoD network security managers to block FTP access, users of the eFOIA site may be impacted. While there is no final decision at this time, we want you to be aware of the potential for change.
As an interim step to ensure that DLA procurement data will continue to be available and to assist users in the transition in the event of this potential action, links to files on this website initiate http transfers which will continue to be available should ftp transmissions be blocked. Data files at this time can also be accessed via ftp at ftp://efoia2.daps.dla.mil/website/files.
The procurement
data available on this site is created by Defense Logistic Agency's Enterprise Business System (EBS).
EBS files are in delimited ASCII format. Files that are generated daily will be maintained on this site for a minimum of one week. Weekly files will be available for at least one month, and monthly files can be accessed for two months.
Select the
